Strawberry Granita

Refreshing low-fat dessert
450g/1lb strawberries, hulled
2 tbsp Canderel® Stevia Granules
Juice of half a lime
1. Add the strawberries to a food processor along with the Canderel® Stevia and whiz until pureed.

2. Add 450ml/1pint of water to the food processor and the lime juice and pulse to combine. Pour the mixture through a sieve into a large jug or bowl.

3. Transfer the sieved mixture to a shallow freezer-proof container and put in the freezer for a couple of hours

4. Remove and whiz in the food processor then pour back into the container and put back in the freezer until frozen. Scoop out to serve.

This is best served within a week, although it will freeze happily for up to a month, the flavour won’t be as intense.
